In this tour you will experience the great Shwedagon Pagoda visit in Yangon, Hnee Pagoda (500 years old Buddha Image made from lacquered Bamboo) and Shwe U Min Cave in Kalaw, start trekking to villages, taste the local home cooked meals and homestay at local village and explore the daily lives of different tribes such as Taung Yoe, Danu and Pa-O, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda (one of the most famous Pagoda in Myanmar) in Inle Lake, Bogyoke Market (Scott’s market), the largest market in Yangon and one of the best places for souvenirs, gems and jewelry, lacquer ware, wood carving paintings.

Tour Overview

Day 1

Arrival Yangon – Sightseeing

On arrival at Yangon international airport, welcome by our experience tour guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Your sightseeing begin by visiting: Sule pagoda which is located in the heart of downtown Yangon. Then, take photo and walk around the city hall, Mahabandoola park with independence monument, the interesting historical building of government and other remarkable colonial style building, Hight court, Botahtaung pagoda: a famous landmark on Yangon's water front. At the end of the day, proceed to old magnificent Shwedagon pagoda; the land mark of Myanmar, sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats. Enjoy the beautiful sunset at Shwedagon pagoda. Dinner at restaurant and overnight at Yangon. (Meal – Lunch / Dinner)
Day 2

Yangon / Heho – Drive to Kalaw

After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Yangon Airport and fly to Heho. Then, drive to Kalaw (a beautiful hill Resort) and visit to Hnee Pagoda (500 years old Buddha Image made from lacquered Bamboo) and Kalaw Shwe U Min Cave. Overnight at Hotel. (Meal – Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 03

Kalaw Trekking

Firstly we will go to the starting point (Tha Yet Pu Village) where you will meet the trekking guide and porters and start walking to Kan Par Ni Village. On the way you will see the different kind of vegetable fields and different tribes such as Taung Yoe, Danu and Pa-O. Lunch will be served at the monastery of the village. After lunch we go on to Waa Gyi Myaung village which is located on the highest mountain of the Inle Lake Region. (Meal – Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 04

Kalaw Trekking

After simple breakfast, we go down to Kyauk Ngek Village and Khaung Daing Village which are located on the western shore of the lake through the forested valley. And you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight in Nyaung Shwe. (Meal – Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 05

Inle Sightseeing

After breakfast at Hotel, start the Inle Sightseeing, Local Fishermen in the lake (famous for its unique rowing style, wrapping one leg around their oar), beautiful floating Gardens (locals grow vegetables and fruit in large gardens that float on the surface of the lake), Nga Phe Chaung Monastery (is known for a collection of old Myanmar’s Buddha Images from different regions that are worth seeing), and visit to Ywa Ma Village to observe the Silver Smith workshop, Umbrella workshop, Shan traditional Paper making. Then, proceed to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda (one of the most famous Pagoda in Myanmar), and visit to Inn Paw Khon Village to see the Silk weaving workshop. Overnight at Hotel in Nyaung Shwe. (Meal – Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 06

Inle – Heho/ Yangon (Flight)

After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Airport and fly back to Yangon. Arrival Yangon and first visit to Chaukhtatkyi pagoda; houses fourth largest reclining buddha, Gabaraye Pagoda (world peace pagoda); is significant for its sixth synod which was hold in its large compound in 1954, Mahapasana cave, Kyauk Taw Gyi; Giant marble buddha image and white elephant. After Lunch, visit Bogyoke Market (Scott’s market), the largest market in Yangon and one of the best places for souvenirs, gems and jewelry, lacquer ware, wood carving paintings, Myanmar traditional dresses, and also sorts of handicrafts. Overnight at Hotel. (Meal – Breakfast / Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 07

Yangon – Connecting to your Departure Flight

After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Yangon International Airport and connect your flight.
